Piano Lessons
Piano lessons are the very best place to begin your musical journey. Starting lessons on a piano rather than on a variable-pitch instrument (for example, a violin or a flute) allows the student to focus on learning the basics of musical notation, dynamics, and technique without also having to learn how to produce the correct pitch for each note. Even if your child is already in love with a different instrument, the piano is still the best place to learn the basics.
Private piano lessons - $25/half hour, $50/hour
I offer lessons in my home studio in Matthews, NC, for $25/half hour or $50/hour. For an additional travel fee, it may be possible for me to come to your home for lessons, depending on distance and scheduling.

Beginners are welcome! However, please note that I do not accept students younger than 6 years old. And remember - it’s never too late to start taking lessons! If you’ve always wanted to learn piano, you can.
